How do I seek the light? is a first chapter in a video series called LONG. In this series Rosa uses video- and audio material captured while cycling from Bolivia to the most southern point of South America. During the five cycling months Rosa explored how to deepen her relationship to the landscape surrounding her. In LONG she experiments with ways to recreate this connection and invites the audience into intimate spaces where video memories will bring you closer to your surrounding.

In 'How do I seek the light?' the audience is invited to lay by themselves on a camping mattress surrounded by sleeping bag, a book, toothbrush, a feather in a tent; the intimate surrounding of the few things you bring with you on a cycling journey. Within the tent you find a screen and headphones drawing you into a memory. A voice, singing and talking, brings you to the fear of the dark, of camping alone, of being vulnerable. The voice questions what living entities; forests, rocks, grass, seeds, rivers and humans hurt and who protects a human.
